One day, there lived a family with just one daughter.  Name of  the daughter is Nurul. The mother and father was a busy business man. Their daughter felt so lonely and sad because her parents didn’t ever take care of her. Even she knew that everything she wants, her parents would give it to her. But she felt that her parents just want a good business not a good daughter.

 At school (kringggg)

Z         : “I heard that your mom and dad went to the Singapore last week. Was it right?

N         : “That’s right”

Z         : “And you didn’t go with them?”

N         : “Yes!”

Z         : “Why?”

N         : “Why? Seriously? This is not a holiday. I just can’t go vacation with my family when the school begins”

Z         : “I’m sorry I forget that”

N         : “Excuse me ! That is mine”

W        : “Oh I’m sorry. I forget to give it back”

N         : “That’s ok. BTW, Where did you go yesterday?”

Z         : “Yes, you always like disappear lately”

 W       : “Well girls. I think it’s none of your business. So I have to go now. Bye!”

N         : “He’s so mysterious”

Z         : “Oh no! Please don’t. You always like to find out more about someone like him.        A mysterious man.”

N         : “No, not this time”

Z         : “come on let’s go home

When She arrived at her house …

N         : “Mom, Dad, I’m home!”

A         : “Oh my baby’s home. Come here. This is for you I bought it from Singapore. I think you like it”

N         : “Yea another doll (Again?). Mom, could you please treat me like I’m not your baby anymore. I’m sixteen. I don’t need this.

A         : “Oh yes, I’m sorry honey. I just can’t let my baby’s grow up”

N         : “You better try it. BTW, Next week is my birthday, right mom?”

A         : “Yes, absolutely. Just say what you want for your birthday party”

N         : “Well I don’t want a huge party. Just simple one with you, dad and my bestfriend. That’s it.”

A         : “Next week? OMG honey I’m sorry, your dad and I will go to Italy, Meet  the clients. It’s a big project. But I don’t want my baby’s birthday mess. So I give this  check 100 Million for you. Buy everything you want, everything you like, everything for your perfect birthday party.

N         : “What? Oh I get it now. So you change the joy with a lot of these money?”

A         : “No honey, I just can’t be with you on your birthday”

N         : “But you can cancel the meeting, right?”

A         : “It’s not that simple sweetheart”

N         : “Whatever!”

A         : “Honey wait!”

N         : “What? It’s my sweet seventeen and my parents won’t be there. They prefer to choose the clients over me? Is that what you called a perfect birthday? I just want you and dad! Nothing else, not even this. How can you don’t understand?!”

(Suddenly Her father appeared )

I          : “What is going on? What happened?”

A         : “Next week is our daughter’s birthday and we can’t be with her and celebrate together.”

I          : “Well, it’s just a birthday not a big deal. We give her money and she will pick the things that she likes for her birthday.”

A         : “I think so. But I wonder how often do we miss our daughter’s birthday?”

 I        : “Mom, please don’t think about it. She is teenager, this is what teenagers do”

A         : ”I’m not a good mom, am I?”

I          : “No! Of course. You’re the best mom ever. Trust me she’s gonna be ok.”

A         : “yes, I hope so”

               

On the next day at school. She felt so sad and because of that she brought a picture of her parents and scratched it.

N         : “How can they be so selfish! I hate you!”

W        : “Problem with parents? Yap! They just gave it what you want, but they didn’t ever think about us, didn’t they?”

N         : “Hmm well boy, I think it’s none of your business! I have to go now!”

Z         : “Good Morning!!”

N         : “Morning”

Z         : “What happened to her? Did you do something inappropriate?!”

W        : “No, calm down. She’s just sad because of her parents”

Z         : “How did you know that?”

W        : “Easy! She brought a picture of her parents and she scratched it with this”

               

(Kringg) When the bell rang , her friend named zulfa went out to her home early. So Nurul, whose didn’t study in class surprised knowing that zulfa wasn’t in her place anymore.

N         : “Where is she?”

W        : “Do you think I know? Does this face looks like I know everything?”

N         : “No! I’m just asking you not investigating! Just calm down boy”

W        : “I was kidding, ok.”

N         : “HAHA .. very funny. Nice joke!”

W        : “She went home”

N         : “Really?”

W        : “Yes! What happened between you and her? Hey I’m asking you..!”

N         : “I don’t know!”

W        : “Ok. We have a task to do together. So when? And where? Up to you”

N         : “Together? About what?”

W        : “Social. I’m your partner”

N         : “Why didn’t zulfa choose me as her partner?”

W        : “Why don’t you ask to her? If you don’t want to do it with me that’s ok!”

N         : “No, wait! That’s not what I mean. How about your place now? You don’t mind,do you?”

W        : “OK”

            So, they went to Arwan’s house to finish their task. But Nurul’s surprised for the first time to see Arwan’s bedroom looks like.

N         : “Wow! what is this place?”

W        : “It’s called bedroom. Don’t you have a kind of this place in your house?”

N         : “Is this what you called bedroom? It’s like warehose to me”

W        : “Ok that’s enough. Let’s do what we have to do”

N         : “OMG! Did you drink? It’s not good right?”

W        : “So what?! You’re not my mom!”

N         : “Yes, but I’m your friend. I know that this is not good for you. This is totally bad!”

W        : “Don’t act like you care about me!”

N         : “OK”

W        : “(open the laptop) So I’ve been searching this for the cover. It’s up to you. Make a choice. This one or that one? What do you think? Hey!”

N         : “oh yes! I think that one. It looks nice. (come closer to the drug) Arwan, what   exactly is this?”

W        : “It’s nothing”

N         : “No! honest! You don’t say that this is drug, do you?”

W        : “Yes, you’re right”

N         : “So it is drug!”

W        : “Yes, you want to try?”

N         : “What is wrong with you?! This thing is not supposed to be in here! You shouldn’t consume this!  You can’t even have this! Where did you get this?!”

W        : “Why?! I’ve a lot of problems. My parents divorced , my father is a drunk. Even my mom wouldn’t care about me! This thing is like medicine for me. I can enjoy my life if I have this!”

N         : “You know what? I think we need to take a break. Where is the bathroom anyway?”

W        : “That way.!   (sound effect) I think she needs to try this. (Put the drug into Nurul’s bag)”

N         : “Arwan, I’m sorry but I think I have to go now. We can finish our task after school. Would it be alright?”

W        : “That’s ok”

               

After she knew about Arwan’s drug. She went home curiously and hoped that it was just a dream. But when she got there. There was a problem between her mom and her father.

A         : “What is it? Can you explain that? (Give the photo to Ippo)”

I          : “This is a photo”

A         : “Photo of what?!”

I          : “What did you do with my stuff?!”

A         : “Answer me!”

I          : “It’s my secretary”

A         : “Oh really? So is this belongs to her? (show the fragrance)”

I          : “Where did you get that?!”

A         : “So it’s true. You cheated on me!”

I          : “No! I can explain. Last night I drunk too much. I don’t know anything about this. Mom, I’m sorry. I won’t do it again”

A         : “Don’t you dare talk to me like that! If you really love me. Why do you have this thing (drug) in your bag? It’s drug, isn’t it?!”

I          : “So what?! All of these are my stuff! You have no permission to touch my things!”

A         : “So what?! You having fair with your secretary, you always drink too much, now you have drug in your bag?!  What a jerk man you are!”

I          : “(Slap anisa’s cheek) shut your mouth!

A         : “I don’t want to see your face! Get out of my house! Now!”

N         : “What is going on? Dad, where are you going? Don’t leave us here dad!”

A         : “Let him go honey. Go!”

N         : “No dad! Please! Don’t go! Don’t leave me here!”

I          : “I have to go! Get out of my way! (push Nurul)”

A         : “Honey!! Are you ok?”

I          : “I hate this family! You and your mom are useless!”

N         : “Dad, don’t you ever come back here!”

                She wasn’t sad when her father left them instead she’s angry of what her father have done to them. But when she called zulfa to come to her house, she found something. Something that could change her life.

N         : “Arghh I can’t believe this is happened to my family! (looking photo of her dad) Dad, you know what? I was so proud of you. But now, I guess you’re the worst dad ever in this world! (call zulfa) Zul, is that you?”                                                                               

Z         : “Yes, it’s me. Are you ok? It sounds like you have problem. Nurul .. halo…”

N         : “yea, yea. I’m fine. But of course my parents divorced”

Z         : “Your parents what? How could that happened?”

N         : “Can you come to my place? I’ll explain it”

Z         : “yes. I’ll be there”

N         : “Thank you”

                So zulfa went to Nurul’s house. Nurul told her everything. After zulfa knew what was going on. She tried to make Nurul happy as she told her to make a birthday party plan.

Z         : “Ooh.. it’s ok. Don’t you worry. I always be there for you. You can count on me.”

N         : “Yes. You always there for me. Thank you”

Z         : “Don’t think about it. I know that your dad will regrat everything that he’s done to you and your mom. So, don’t be sad, smile. You have a beautiful smile. Well. What if we make a birthday party plan. It’s gonna be your sweet seventeen. You don’t want to miss it, do you?”

N         : “yes. It’s gonna be my sweet seventeen. I don’t wanna let anyone even my mom or dad to mess it up. Whatever happen the party must go on right?”

Z         : “That’s my girl! So, you still have check 100 million that your mom gave it to you right?

N         : “Yes. I still keep it”

Z         : “So what are we waiting for? Let’s have a party. C’mon”

N         : “Yes! Go to the mall!”

            Two weeks passed. Finally, Nurul could take realityof what had happened to her. Even without a father, she could be a strong girl. With Zulfa’s help she enjoyed her life .

At school

Z         : “wow! Last night it was the best party ever!”

N         : “yes, absolutely. You’re the one who helped me to make it best”

W        : “(uhuk..uhuk) (cough) Hai Rul! Zul!”

Z         : “Hai wan! Where were you last night? You didn’t go to Nurul’s party”

W        : “yea, I know. I’m sorry. But I have something for you (uhuk..uhuk..) (cough)”

N         : “what is it? Is it drug?”

W        : “(uhuk..uhuk) (cough) (smile) No, of course not. You’ll find out after you open it”

N         : “Hey, are you sick?”

Z         : “You look so tired”

W        : “I’m fine.. (uhuk..uhuk) (cough). Well girls, I have to go now. I hope you like it”

N         : “sure.. bye”

Z         : “Ehemm”

N         : “What? It’s just a present”

                After school, Nurul went to home with a present that Arwan just gave to her. But, there is something happen in her house.

N         : A doll! Oohh I love it!

I          : “It’s beautiful doll”

N         : “Yes, it is. Dad!!”

A         : “I thought you didn’t like doll”

N         : “It was. Ok By the way, what are you doing in here? Mom! What is he doing in here?!”

I          : “I’m sorry dear, I was wrong. I was totally stupid to let you and your mom alone. Please forgive me”

N         : “It’s easy right?”

I          : “Easy for what?”

N         : “Apologize. You think that everything’s fixed with just one word”

I          : “So what should I do?”

N         : “You say you’ve changed dad and you apologize. You think everything’s ok. But why can’t I believe you eventhough I want to? You just don’t know what you’ve done to us!”

I          : “I’m sorry dear. I’m gonna prove it that I’ve changed”

N         : “Bullshit!”

I          : “Wait! You have to listen to me”

N         : “No dad! You listen to me! I was expecting a great and happy family. I was expecting to have a great mom great dad. That always cares about me. I don’t need  a lot of money. What I need is just simple love from my parents and I never get that from you and mom. You always care about your business, business and business! Now I have a father standing right in front of me whose drink too much, never cares about his daughter and have drug. Well I’m so proud of you dad! I’ve been waiting for you to come to my birthday. But you didn’t come. Even just to say Happy Birthday. All of my friends birthday, they have their parents standing beside them. But I don’t and it’s hurting me so bad. You’ve no idea what I’ve been through all this time.

I          : “Dear wait!”

A         : “It’s ok dad. Let her go. Just give her more time to accept all of this”

                Nurul was upset to her father that came to their house. She went to her bedroom. Suddenly in a right place and right time, Zulfa appeared.

N         : “If my dad had this. Why can’t I have this too. It’s ok. This can reduce my stressful right?”

Z         : “DOON’T! (take the drug from Nurul) where did you get this?!”

N         : ” I don’t care! No one cares! If I die, my parents will be happy they don’t need to take care of me anymore!”

Z         : “No! that’s not what they want! They do care about you. That’s why your dad came back here. He came back for you! Maybe because of this thing, now Arwan is in the hospital”

N         : “What?”

Z         : “That’s why I came here to tell you about this”

N         : “let’s go to the hospital”

                After she knew that Arwan was in the hospital. They went to the hospital to find out what exactly happen to Arwan.

N         : “Arwan, how could this happened to you?”

W        : “(uhuk..uhuk) (cough)  drug! Because of that. I’m sorry, you warned me about that before but I didn’t care. You tried to take care of me thank you.”

N         : “That’s what friends for, right?”

Z         : “Yes! Drug is something very dangerous for us and we have to avoid that. Well, at first maybe it can make you stop to think about the problems you have. But in the end, that thing will drop you down. It’s very useless.”

W        : “(uhuk..uhuk) (cough) yes, that’s right. Like me, useless”

N         : “No! you’re not. We always be your friends”

A         : “Yes honey. We always be your parents”

N         : “Mom ! Dad!”

I          : “It’s ok if you don’t want to forgive me. I understand. I’m not a good father for you. If you want me to go that’s ok. I’ll do it for you”

N         : “No dad! I’m so grateful that I have you in my life.”

A         : “We can built this family again. We promise you from now on our time is jus for you honey”

N         : “Mom dad! (hugging)

Z         : “We always be your family”

W        : “(uhuk..uhuk) (cough) family that take care one each other”

N         : “thank you god, you send me this crazy, annoying and great family. I love you guys!

               

After that, just like other story. They lived happily ever after.
